HC ONLINE COURSE SELECTION 2015/2016

Helpful Info:
1.
You do NOT have to take a FAB (Fine Arts Block) Elective. You can leave this blank.
2.
If you want to take, or continue in, a PAP/AP course, select it. Selection does not guarantee approval.
Students will receive notification of approval later in the semester.
3.
If you will take a History course in summer school, choose it under History. This does NOT mean you are
registering for summer school. You must choose another elective (#10 at the bottom of your list).
4.
HC recommends taking more than the minimum number of Foreign Language courses if you are
currently doing well. If you’ve finished your Foreign Language, choose another elective.
5.
Everyone must take ILT or Conditioning-Football (required for ALL football players).
6.
If you can’t find the course you want, it is not generally available to your grade level. Go see your
counselor.
Instructions:
1. In NetClassroom, log in the same way you see your grades.
2. Click on Registration, then Enter Requests.
3. Make sure it says Registration for ’15-’16 at the top of your screen.
4. Edit Requests.
5. Your initial screen will look similar to Figure 1.
6. Enter a choice for every subject and an Alternate
for all ELECTIVES (except FAB courses). All
Alternates should be courses you are willing to
take.

7. Click Submit. Your final screen should look like
the back of this sheet. When finished, you may
get a red error message. Some courses have
prerequisites. For example, you cannot take ArtAdvanced unless you have taken Art 1. You must
choose another course. To check for errors, see
the bottom of your list under Additional
Requests.
8. Print the final screen on Portrait setting
(Command+Shift+3 for Macs; Control+P for PC’s)
and after it’s signed, turn it into Counseling.
Your print out must look EXACTLY like the
back of this sheet. Fill in all information and
turn it in to a LIVE person in the Counseling
Office by March 27, 2015. Forms left on an
unattended desk will be returned.
We make every effort to give you the courses you
select; however, no requests are accepted until
the signed course request is turned in to the
Counseling Office. If you want to make a change
after your form is turned in, but before March 27,
you must edit your selections, re-print, have your
parent sign, date and turn in. You may lose your
priority for popular electives. Requests are
filled based on the date received. Do not plan to
make changes once selections have been turned
in. Make your selections CAREFULLY!
Your printed out Course Selection screen must look exactly like this,
printed vertically (portrait), not horizontally (landscape).
Make sure your FIRST and LAST name, your cell phone,
and your parent’s signature and cell phone are filled in.
