SolarCity’s ZS Beam is a revolutionary mounting solution that allows solar panels to be
attached to parking lot shading structures faster, more safely and at a lower cost than was
previously possible.
Visible demonstration of green initiatives
While other leading solar carport mounting products must be installed from above the
structure frame, ZS Beam is installed from below, eliminating the safety hazards affiliated
with standing or climbing on the modules and racking.
Significantly safer to install
ZS Beam uses a unique clamp that locks solar panels onto carport or canopy structures.
The modules are clamped at all four corners onto the canopy, electrically bonding them to
the structure for increased safety. ZS Beam can withstand winds of up to 120 mph and a
snow load of up to 50 psf.
As with all products in the Zep Solar line, ZS Beam significantly improves aesthetics by
seamlessly connecting panels into a single plane. Installation time is also significantly
reduced compared to industry standards, resulting in far less disruption to customer’s
business operations.
