John Board is the Dean of Henley Business School. As well as managing the strategic and operational
development of the Business School, John has a particular interest in the development of Management
Education in the aftermath of the financial crisis. Before assuming the position of Dean, John was
Director of the ICMA Centre, University of Reading.

David Grundy is CEO & Co-founder of Invenias a leading provider of software based solutions to
executive search firms, strategic recruitment companies, and in-house strategic hiring
teams. Headquartered in Reading the company has 700 customers in 50 countries, revenues of $7
million, 60 employees and has achieved a growth rate of 75% per annum for the past five years.
David is also a co-founder and non-executive director erevena a 25 person strong leading headhunting
firm operating in the technology and digital business sectors.
David started his career in 1988 as a Sales Executive with IMI plc following which he joined Oracle UK
undertaking the positions of Client Executive for the BT Account, and Regional Director for the Retail
and Services Sector. In 2000 David joined US internet start-up eCal where he set up operation in
Europe and following the dotcom collapse went on to run the UK Operations for Storage Networks, the
pioneers of cloud storage services.
Jurek Sikorski, Business Development Lead and Executive in Residence Henley Business School
Jurek is chairman of several start-up and small businesses and business development specialist
focusing on sales and customer development. He has over 30 years’ experience in the
pharmaceutical, medical devices, in vitro diagnostics and biotechnology industries working for
SMEs and multi-national corporations. This includes senior roles in sales and as the Chief Executive
of SRS Technology Group Plc which he led to an IPO, Cantab Pharmaceuticals Plc and Proteus
International Plc and Sales & Marketing Director at Smith & Nephew Medical, a FSTE 100 medical
devices company.
