This product bulletin is to notify you of a product change to our CMB filter offerings. As part of our
product line review, we have identified an opportunity to improve the end-user experience by
replacing our CMB filters with NSF-approved filters.
Details
The CMB 2 ½” diameter series cartridges offered in the AWP Catalog will be discontinued and
replaced with NSF-approved filters.
The following non-NSF approved filters will be replaced over the coming months. The timing of the
change will be dependent on existing stock levels.

The High Flow (HF) 4” diameter cartridges listed below have received NSF approval, and the
non-NSF filters will be replaced over the coming months. The timing of the change will be
dependent on existing stock levels.
Due to low demand, we will be discontinuing AWP111-3 by April 2013, and AWP111-4 is
discontinued effective immediately.
NSF approval
In order to achieve NSF 42 approval, our products have undergone rigorous testing procedures.
This certification ensures reduction of specific aesthetic or non-health-related contaminants
(chlorine, taste and odor, and particulates) that may be present in public or private drinking water.
NSF certification is an expensive process, and as a result, the cost of the NSF-approved filter
cartridges will increase slightly over the non-certified cartridges. Please contact your VIQUA
Regional Sales Manager for details.
