Jimei Web trade troubleshoot guide v 1.4(Client Version)
Problem Types:
1 Login related
1.1 Account suspended
1.1.1 Contact back office to enable the account again, and call back the client.
1.2 Wrong Password
1.2.1 Reboot the pc once
1.2.2 Check for the keyboard Lower case and Upper case of the password character.
1.2.3 Check for the account ID, did user used “O” to replaced the number “zero”.
1.2.4 After 3 times wrong password entry, the user account will be suspended, and the message
dialog show, please contact the back office staff to enable it.
1.3 Password change issues
1.3.1 For the securities web trade:
Change the “Login password” first, then logout, and used the new password to login, if
success that mean “Login password” change succeed.
1.3.2 After the “Login password” change succeed, that can change the “Trade Password”
1.3.3 If the user not want to use the trade password, please contact the related AE staff to sign the
form.

We suggest that you change the “Login password” first, then logout once. After that login again, and then
change the “Trade password”.

At the 1 time login, “Old Login password” equal to the “user login password” which printed at the client letter.
At the 1 time login, “Old Trade password” equal to the “user login password” which printed at the client letter.
1) Select “Others” tab, 2) then input “old login password”, “new login password” and “re-enter login password”.

You need to input the “Trade password” at each time trade. And the function of the “Trade password” is to
enhance the trade system security, but it will increase the trade operation steps, if you want to disable the
“Trade password”, please contact us within the office hour.
Within a period (few month), the system will request the user to change the password. So, we suggested that
the user should change the password when the system make the request, else, although the user can
success to login, the “BUY” and “SELL” button will be disable until the password change.
1.4 Login dialog cannot be popup
1.4.1 Check for the “POPUP” blocking setting of IE or anti-virus/ firewall software.

2.3 IE related setting:
2.3.1 Clear the temporary file:
Open IE,Click “Tools” -> “Internet Option”。
Clear temporary files:
Click tab “General”-> Click “Delete” button -> “Delete ALL” Or “Delete File”
2.3.2 IE COOKIE Setting:
1- Click tab “Privacy”
2- Turning the option bar ”Select a
setting for internet Zone” to “Accept
all cookie” .

2.3.3 Restore or reset IE setting:
If the above IE setting cannot be solve the problem, you can try the following method:
(optional steps)
Click tab “advance”-> Click “Reset” button -> Click “Apply” or “OK” button。
(after reset the IE setting, please reset the required IE setting of the Web trading system.)
2.4 Update the Java(JRE) from http://www.java.com with most update version.
2.5 Sometime you may need to reboot the computer to apply some configuration.

Q&A
3.1 Q: The “Buy” and “Sell” button was disabled?
A: Since the web trade system will request the client to change the login password within 3
months, if the client don’t change the password, above problem will appear.
3.2 Q: The client did not want to input the trade password during each time they place the orders,
how to disable the trade password?
A: Contact the related agent to retrieve, fill and sign the AE form: “Account Information
Maintenance” Form first, then submit the signed form to “back office” to perform the progress.
3.3 Q: When the user use the IE9 Internet browser to perform the web trading, why the system
become unstable?
A: The Java version Java6u24 or upper version was solved the IE9 ActiveX related problem. So, if
user want to install the updated version of Java, please goto http://www.java.com

3.4 Q: When I used the ENGLISH version Windows, then login the ENG version of Jimei web trade
system, but there are some information cannot be display, why?
A: For the ENGLISH version Windows, following setting must be setup.
- “Start”->Control panel -> region -> all language and region option set to Chinese (Taiwan).

3.5 Q: Can I login other Java web site with Jimei Web trade system as a same time?
A: We suggest that the client don’t login other Java web site (e.g. Web Banking) with Jimei Web
trade system as a same time, it is because the Java VM loading will become higher, it will affect
the trading system performance.
