Jasem notched a hat trick against Pacific’s win against La Verne on Sunday, which included a pair of penalty kick goals. His four goals and two assists this week are both season career highs. He shared a combined shutout with three other keepers against Northwest Christian and with Chris Grasso against La Verne. Andrew had a total of 14 saves, giving up just two goals. Honorable Mention – Mark Bennett (Willamette, Sr./GK – Salt Lake City, Wash./West) Brian Kostol (Pacific Lutheran, Jr./GK – Tigard, Ore./Tigard) Women’s Soccer (offensive) MacKenzie Doty Linfield, Senior Forward McMinnville, Ore./McMinnville Major: Business Doty scored two goals in each of Linfield’s three matches last week, including a goal 16 seconds into the game against Northwest Christian. She helped the Wildcats to a 2‐1 week, adding an assist to her six goals. Against the nationally second‐ranked Wheaton, Wolfer had four saves. She also earned all‐ tournament honors at the Puget Sound Premier hosted by Puget Sound after averaging 4.6 kills in the Lutes’ four matches. Hanna added four aces, 73 digs, and two blocks to her stats, leading her team to four wins in the first week of competition. Alexa Block Pacific, Freshman Outside Hitter Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Claremont Major: Media Arts Minor: Accounting In her first week as a Boxer, Alexa averaged 3.50 kills and 3.11 digs per set. She finished with three double‐doubles (kills & digs) and led Pacific in both categories. Alexa came alive against formidable opponents in Wartburg and Central to post back‐to‐back 20‐kill nights. She also had 11 blocks and 56 digs to her credit in the four matches the Boxers played in this week. Fisher was 20 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Honorable Mention – Francis Reynolds (Puget Sound, Sr. – Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) Karl Dickman (Lewis & Clark, Sr. – Bend, Ore./Summit) Nick Gallagher (Whitworth, Jr. – Bedford, Iowa/Bedford) Sean Andrascik (Pacific Lutheran, So. ‐ Eatonville, Wash./Eatonville) Women’s Cross Country Tonya Turner Whitworth, Junior Spokane, Wash./Mead Major: Health Science Turner won the 55‐runner women’s race at the Whitman Invite by nine seconds, with a time of 14:34.76 in the 4k event.
