number of Rhizophillic Bacillus
species together with
Trichoderma sp and associated
synergistic support organisms.
Together they provide a living
shield against potential
pathogens. This is accomplished
by crowding out pathogenic
invaders and by consuming the
root exudates which might
attract them.
When properly re-constituted

use under EEC 2092/91
BactoLife DP 104 can be used in various ways.
The powder may be applied as a seed dressing and should be mixed with the seed prior
to sowing and sown with the seed. Because seeds vary in weight and sowing rates, the
recommendation is made on a weight per hectare basis and BactoLife DP 104 should
be added to provide 1 kg/ha.
Liquids for soil or compost drenches can be prepared by reactivating BactoLife DP 104
in a nutrient solution in a similar process to the manufacture of “biological tea”.
Alternatively, it can be reactivated in warm water.
BactoLife DP 104 at 1 kg/ha can also be added directly to some liquid placement
fertilisers and also granular fertilisers.

APPLICATION RATES:
WITH BREWER: Re-constitution of BactoLife DP 104 is carried out in a nutrient
solution between 20oC - 30oC and should be aerated/brewed for about 24 hours.
It can then be diluted and sprayed.
Application rates vary according to the crop and soil conditions but typically 0.5 kg
per hectare are used for soil treatment and 0.25 to 0.5 kg per hectare for
subsequent foliar applications.
HANDLING:
Store in a cool dry area
PACKING:
WITHOUT BREWER Disperse 1 kg in 20 litres of warm water (30oC), stir well and
leave for 2 hours to activate Microbes. Dilute this mix into 200 litres of clean
chlorine free water and apply at 50 litres/ha.
