New Primary Care Practice Opens in Camp Creek
ATLANTA – Dec. 11, 2014 – People who live or work in Camp Creek now have a convenient option for
health care.
Atlanta Medical Center Primary Care Physicians at Camp Creek has opened off Camp Creek Parkway, in
the medical complex. Same-day appointments are available.
Dr. Michelle Cooke, a board certified family medicine physician, is accepting new patients. She
specializes in providing primary care services to all age groups – from newborns to seniors. Dr. Cooke is
available for sick visits as well as preventive care services (annual physicals and health screenings). She
also works with her patients to control chronic illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
Her interests are women’s and children’s health; obesity prevention and management; and diabetes
prevention and management. Dr. Cooke is also certified to offer Department of Transportation
physicals.
A native of Boston, Dr. Cooke graduated from Spelman College and earned her medical degree from
Morehouse School of Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at Atlanta Medical
Center, serving as chief resident. A wife and mother, she lives in Southwest Atlanta. Dr. Cooke also
speaks Spanish.

healthcare for the greater Atlanta community,” Dr. Cooke says.

Atlanta Medical Center Primary Care Physicians at Camp Creek is located at 3886 Princeton Lakes Way,
Suite 120A, Atlanta, GA 30331. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. – noon. Most
