Kids lighting with a difference
With effect from 2013, Philips and Walt Disney Company have teamed up to produce
a new range of exciting, fun and safe “Disney themed” lights for children of all ages.
The first new Disney lights will be available for sale in certain European countries from
September 2013 with most markets stocking the latest innovative Disney lighting
applications by December 2013.
With Globug being the official distributor of Philips consumer lighting in South Africa,
Globug is proud to announce that the Disney themed lights will start being introduced
into the South African market from the end of September 2013. More additions to the
Disney range will be available for sale in South Africa through Globug for the Christmas
period 2013.
The Disney range will include various LED night lamp / night light as well as LED candle
light options.
All the Disney themed lights are decorated either with or in the shape of different Disney characters and will enable the interaction between kids and the various Disney
characters and stories. Certain of the new Disney lights are designed to promote regular
sleeping patterns for kids by letting them know when it’s time to get up – similar to the
myBuddy table/desk lights launched on www.globug.co.za in the first quarter of 2013.
