Important Information Regarding Tax Free Products
Purchased Today
1. When departing, please carry the tax free product(s)
you have purchased with you at all times.
・The tax free product(s) must not be given to anyone else
before you leave Japan.
・If you send a tax free product(s) as unaccompanied baggage,
you must complete the proper procedures at the customs office.
・If the tax free product(s) is not in your possession prior
to departure, you will be required to pay consumption tax.
2. Prior to departure, please show the customs officer
the tax free product(s) purchased as well as the "Record
of Purchase of Consumption Tax-Exempt for Export Slip"
attached to your passport.
・ Be sure to inform the customs officer about the tax free
product(s) in your baggage before check-in.
