Gaslight Criterium Women’s Cycling Clinic

We will meet at the Kent ISD Parking Lot at 2:45pm for check in
(2930 Knapp St. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525)
Instruction begins at 3pm sharp. We will practice several elements of Criterium
racing benefitting all categories of cyclists. There will be introductory information
for the cyclists new to Criterium racing, as well as a more advanced Criterium
practice for the more seasoned bike racer.
We will start in the parking lot of Kent Intermediate School District for
instruction and practice. Then we’ll ride over to the Gaslight Criterium race course
for a few laps of on-course instruction and to familiarize riders with the actual
race course. This is a great way to preview the course and get comfortable with
the course dynamics prior to the race. We’ll return to Kent ISD at the conclusion
of the clinic.
Gaslight Criterium Race day is August 19 (register on line by Aug 16th)
9:15am Women’s cat 4 race - 30 mins with a $200 cash payout plus primes.
9:55am Women’s cat 1/2/3 race - 50 mins with a $1500 cash payout plus primes.
