FOOD PANTRY June marks the 6th year of our Pantry outreach. We have grown from helping 17 in June 2010 to giving out 81 bags of food for June 2016 (47 at distribution and 34 during the month. We have also added a clothing room that provides a selection of gently used clothes for those in need. The ability to help our friends and neighbors is all due to YOUR continued support. Thank you! Pantry items: 1lb, pinto beans, 1lb, rice and mac and cheese. BUILDING SECURITY In the last few weeks we have had several occasions where a door or multiple doors have been left unlocked after building was vacated. Also have had the alarm set while people were still in the building. We need everyone that is in the building (during non-office hours) to remember these few simple steps to keep facilities safe and secure: 1) Before leaving you should do a walk-through of the building to assure no one has come in behind you and is in another area of building. 2) Be sure ALL doors are closed completely and locked with the alarm being activated as you leave. Even if you only unlocked one door, please double check all doors just to be sure someone else did not miss one! We want the building to be accessible to all when needed; however, we also need to keep it secure and safe. Please help in assuring that facilities are locked with alarm system activated when building is vacated. If for any reason anyone needs a key, alarm code or has any questions please see Dennis Killingsworth (214)686-2967. Thanks for your help! Dennis WELCOME GUESTS! We are glad you are visiting us at Buckingham Rd. Church of Christ! We want to extend to you warmth, love and hospitality.
