Medicine Wheel Productions and ReCast, Inc are proud to present: Acting Together February 9th at 6:30pm A free screening of the new documentary film, Acting Together on the World Stage, at Medicine Wheel’s home at 110 K Street in South Boston. The film will be shown in conjunction with a new exhibition at Medicine Wheel’s Spoke Gallery, “Points of Impact” by visual artist Linda Burke. Together these two projects will ignite a conversation about what impacts all of our lives and the healing powers of art. There will be a reception in the gallery at 6:30pm followed by the screening of the film at 7pm. A conversation will follow the hour long film screening and will be led by the filmmaker Allison Lund, visual artist Linda Burke, Dr. Cynthia Cohen, director of the Peacbuilding & the Arts Program and Medicine Wheel’s Chief Curator Kathleen Bitetti. * The “Acting Together” Project began in 2005 as a partnership between the Brandeis University and Theatre Without Borders. It involves scholars and practitioners working in fifteen conflict regions, collaborating on an anthology, a documentary, and a Web site, while building a learning community and strengthening networks.The project is lead by principal investigator, Dr. Cynthia Cohen in the Program in Peacebuilding and the Arts within the International Center for Ethics, Justice, and Public Life at Brandeis University.
