endorsement. AUS reserve the right to send a smaller team than nominated, or no team at all should
received EoI’s not be of a standard suitable for a world championship level competition. The makeup of the

Participant Costs
The team will be self-funded. An indicative cost provided by AUS is at this stage $4000.
Please do not nominate if you will not be able to meet this cost, as athletes withdrawing from the
team often results in denying other athletes the opportunity to compete at the Universiade.
All team members, including coaches and trainers, will be required to meet the self-funding
costs/levy. The levy, as determined by AUS, covers travel and includes accommodation, meals, dress
uniforms, insurance, participation fees, etc.
Financial assistance may be available from your university or local government. Please check with
your relevant university sports association or guild.
Final participation costs and payment deadlines will be communicated to all members of the team
upon confirmation of selection.

As per the FISU Regulations, and as the FISU member in Australia, entry in the Universiade / World
