Assistant Spectrum Management Officer Positions Spectrum Management Officers Industry Canada facilitates the orderly development of the radio spectrum within Canada. The position of the Spectrum Management Officer is a highly specialized one that requires the Spectrum Management Officers to conduct off-air radio monitoring of the radio spectrum, conduct on-site inspections on all types of radio installations (from microwave and cellular to land fixed/mobile stations) and to conduct interference investigations on illegal radio operations or faulty radio systems. Spectrum Management Officers are required to use a variety of specialized, state-of-the-art measurement tools and possess a unique skillset that will challenge all of your abilities. You must be highly skilled in your field of study, be able to analyze complex systems and able to recommend timely solutions.
