K12 Sliding Crash Gate
The Nasatka maximum-security vehicle arrest barrier model NMSB-XX is a K12
cantilevered sliding crash gate engineered for high-threat security facilities. The gate
is constructed of aluminum, utilizing Nasatka’s drop arm technology, and balanced to
make opening and closing as effortless as possible. The NMSB-XX is DOS rated to
stop a 15,000 lb. vehicle traveling at 50 mph. K4 and K8 versions are also available.

Cycle Time:
6-16 seconds varies based on the gate opening size, operator, and the weight of the fence material
selected (pickets, chain link, and anti-climb).
Operators:
NMSB Model-XX is available in the standard configuration (manual) or with a remotely operated hydraulic
drive unit (hydraulic).
Barrier Finish:
All steel components of the barrier are hot dip galvanized. A red and white diagonal striped reflective decal
is applied to the gate on the main horizontal beam.
Operating Modes:
BARRIER IS FULLY OPEN (UNSECURED)
Close: Barrier moves to the secure position in standard operating time
Open: No Action
BARRIER IS FULLY CLOSED (SECURE)
Close: No action.
Open: Barrier moves to the unsecured position in standard operating time
BARRIER IS BETWEEN OPEN AND CLOSED AND MOVING TO A SECURE POSITION.
Close: Barrier moves to the secure position in standard operating time
Open: Barrier immediately reverses direction of travel and moves to the unsecured position in standard
operating time (slightly faster due to reduced travel)
