Summary of new and updated price arrangements
for 2017/18
In the lead up to 1 July 2017, the NDIA has made changes to pricing arrangements for supports in three
key areas, for which there will be increased prices in 2017/18:

A general increase based on inflation and expected wage growth will apply to supports as per
Table 1 below;

Updating price loadings for remote and very remote locations – the NDIA will now use price
loadings of 20% for remote areas and 25% for very remote; and

The NDIS cancellation policy will now allow providers to charge up to 2 participant cancellations for
therapeutic supports per annum.
Detailed pricing changes
In line with expected wage growth and inflation, the following changes have been made to pricing
arrangements for supports under the NDIS.
