Technical Data Sheet
Nubeader
NUBW-66
Nawkaw Nubeader™ (NUBW-66), is a water-based, clear,
penetrating water repellent formulated to provide extensive
moisture protection to above grade, vertical masonry &
concrete surfaces.
About the Product
Nubeader has been formulated as a water-based repellent
for use on average porosity masonry and concrete.
Nubeader significantly reduces water penetration that can
cause unsightly appearances and costly repairs. Nubeader
allows moisture vapors to escape, reducing the risks of
spalling or similar failure caused by trapped moisture.
Technical Data
Composition: Proprietary aqueous blend of
silane, organic and inorganic materials.

Environmental and Safety Concerns
Nubeader is a water based repellent that has a low Volatile
Organic Content (VOC) of less that 175 grams per liter (after
mixing). This product meets or exceeds VOC and other
appropriate government safety standards, legislation and
regulatory requirements. Minimal irritation may result from
contact with skin or eyes.
Dry Time for Recoat (if required) ............. 2-3 hours
Surface Appearance after application .........................
................................................... .. no noticeable change

Brick wall low porosity ....... ......... 150-240 sq ft/gal
Concrete Block regular weight ..... 80-140 sq ft/gal
Application
1. A small area should be tested before starting general
application in order to determine results and coverage
requirements.
2. Apply to clean, dry surfaces between 40°F-110°F.
3. Allow 72 hours dry time for brick pointing before
applying Nubeader. Caulking and sealing work generally
requires 6-12 hours of dry time before applying NUBW-66.
4. Alkali or efflorescence should be treated with proper
neutralizing compounds as recommended by masonry
supplier before application of this product.
5. This material should be flooded with a minimum of 10
inch rundown onto surface to assure maximum saturation
onto substrate.
Nawkaw Nubeader protects masonry from
the damaging effects of trapped moisture
by repelling water from the surface.
6. Coverage varies depending on the porosity of substrates.
Extremely porous substrates may require two coats.
