Appliance Rebate
Westfield Gas + Electric’s Appliance rebates are offered to promote the installation of ENERGY STAR®
qualified appliances and heat pump water heaters. This program is designed to offset the incremental cost
of such systems over standard replacements. Eligible appliances or heat pump water heaters must be
purchased between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 and postmarked by January 31, 2018.

Eligibility for Rebate:
• Applicant must be a current electric customer of Westfield Gas and Electric.
• Only customers residing in 1-4 unit residences are eligible to participate.
• Purchases must be made in Massachusetts and online purchases are not eligible.
• Leased appliances are not eligible to receive rebates
• Appliances included in the purchase of a residence are not eligible.
• Only new ENERGY STAR® qualified appliances are eligible.
• Only one rebate of each of the above appliances every three years
• Program terms and conditions are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
How to Apply:
1. Purchase qualifying appliance or heat pump water heater and save your dated sales receipt. A resource
for determining eligible models can be found at: www.energystar.gov.
2. Apply online at www.wgeld.org and upload required documentation.

Complete the following rebate application and mail along with required documentation to WGE
Efficiency Program, 320 Riverside Dr. 1-A, Florence, MA, 01062.
Customers who do not have online access can call 844-403-7960.
Application must be postmarked by January 31, 2018.
3. Upload or return the completed application along with a copy of your dated invoice or receipt.
Remember your submission must include:
a. Copy of your most current electric bill.
b. Copy of dated receipt which must include appliance brand, model, serial #, purchase date and
cost.
