Feature: Lens and Optic Technology - All Lumitec marine LED lights use efficient optics and lens designs to
accurately capture and distribute large percentages of available light from the LED source.
Benefit: To maximize the ever increasing efficacy of advanced LEDs, efficient optic design is essential to capture
and spread the available light and to evenly illuminate areas on board. Unlike incandescent light sources, LED
devices begin with a directional light pattern. The goal of our optics designs was to create patterns that produce
an effective spread of homogeneous illumination throughout. This even spread of light is more important than
how intense a lamp looks when viewed straight on.

Feature: Versatile and easy installation.
Benefit: Lumitec’s user friendly design philosophy starts with installation. Retrofit kits and removeable bezels
allow for easy installlation into a wide range of existing holes (Mirage: mounting hole 1.875″ to 2.750″ with
retrofit kit, mounting depth less than 1”; Orbit/Halo: mounting hole 1 1/4”, mounting depth less than 1/2”).
Simple 2-wire hook up with no external control modules or proprietary switches required means that in most
instances existing wiring can be used.

Feature: Best in class output - high CRI or Color Rendering Index. In general terms, CRI is a measure of a light
source’s ability to show object colors “realistically” or “naturally” compared to a familiar reference source, either
incandescent light or daylight.
