Mr. Macek has a B.S. in Business
administration. He also holds both a State
of Florida “A” water treatment operator
license and an “A” wastewater treatment
operator license. He has been employed
by the Utility since 1997.
The following divisions report to Mr.
Macek:
• Electrical Systems/Maintenance/
Safety
• Laboratory & Compliance
• Wastewater Treatment Facilities
• Water Treatment Facilities
Mr. Macek also oversees the continued implementation of SEMS, a Utility Management
system, which the Utility relies on to fuel the service location data base that is a vital part
of maintaining records for installations, system repairs, and preventative maintenance
(PM) work orders. It is also used to help capture personnel and equipment costs.
