When operating sewing machines, sew at a slow speed.
When sewing, place your finger to either side of the presser foot,
not directly in front of or near the needle.
Forcing or pulling the fabric through the sewing machine may cause
the needle to break. Let the feed dog move the fabric through the
machine.
When sewing on the sewing machines, do not sew over pins placed
in the fabric. Take out pins.
When you are not sewing, remove your foot from the foot control
and place it on the floor. Otherwise you may accidently push the foot
