Dear Parent / Carer
Photographer
Wrates Photographers will be coming to school on Monday 10th October. They will be doing
individual and family photographs, so if you have other children not yet at the school, you can
bring them along too. They will start taking photographs at 8.15am.
MacMillan Coffee Morning
Thank you to everyone who supported the Macmillan coffee morning. It was lovely to see the
hall so full. We raised £167.19 for this worthwhile cause. The winner of the Spot the Cake
competition was Shelley Wheatley.
School Meals
Please find attached the menu for week commencing Monday 17th October. Please return by
Thursday for ordering purposes. Orders must be returned as we will not be able to provide
dinners on a daily basis due to ordering requirements from Kirton Primary School. Please
ensure slips are returned to Mrs Waite.
Parent’s Evening
Parent’s evenings will be taking place on Wednesday 12th October and Thursday 13th October.
Please see the attached letter for appointment times.
Halloween Disco
If your child would like to attend the Halloween disco on Friday 21st October from 6pm to 8pm,
please complete the attached permission form showing their choice of snack box, together
with £4.50, without which they will not be able to attend. There will be prizes for the best
costumes. All proceeds are to go to School Fund.
Harvest Festival
We will be holding our Harvest festival event at the church on Thursday 13th October at 2pm.
Please could we ask you to send in a food donation which we will then send on to the local
food bank in Scunthorpe. We hope you will be able to join us for this service.
Book Fayre
We will be holding a book fair over Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th and Friday 14th October.
This is to coincide with Parent’s evenings and we hope that you will take time to see what is
on offer.
