Disability Employment Services (DES)
The Disability Employment Services is to improve the nation's productive capacity by employment
participation of people with disability. It helps individuals with disability, injury or health condition to
secure and maintain sustainable employment.
The services will increase the focus on the needs of the most disadvantaged job seekers and will achieve
greater social inclusion. The services will boost employment participation and the productive capacity of
the workforce, address Skills Shortage areas and better meet the needs of employers.
Job seekers will be in Disability Management Service or Employment Support Service, depending on their
