The supercontinent continued

Dinosaurs ruled the land and
flourished during this epoch. It is
also gives warm plants.

Even the polar regions had a
temperature climate. The
Jurassic period is known as
the climate characterized by
rain-forests.
Other animals
There was Crocodiles, lizards snakes and
Turtles lived so did Dinosaurs. They lived 150
million years ago.
Plants and vegetation
However plants now extict dinosaurs would
never have survived as long as they did.
The Jurassic period was also known about
plants. These are the names of the plants
conifers, cycads.
New Breed of Dinosaur
These are the new breeds of dinosaurs that
first appeared in this period. Dilophosaurus,
sculleosaurus, stenoperyyius, plesiosaurs
,Brachiosaurs.
Stegosaurus
A three-ton giant with the brain the size of a
walnut. Stegosaurs are the most famous
dinosaur from a group of dinosaurs known as
stegosauria. They were all herbivores.
Diplodocus
At 90 feet long, this was one of the longest
land animals. A large amount of fossils
remains have made it easier for the
scientists to study the diplodocus.
Apatosaurus
It is measured between 70and 90 feet , but it’s head was only about 2
feet long.
THE END OF THE JURASSIC
PERIOD
The Jurassic period also ended with an extinction, but it was not as
extensive as the one in the Triassic period. Only a few types of
dinosaurs died out. Dinosaurs that lived during the Jurassic period
include: Allosaurus, Apatosaurus, Archaeopteryx, Compsognathus,
Diplodocus
