Doc Altenheimer is a good friend of Toms. Everyday when their
favorite team plays, the San Diego Padres, Tom would go over
Doc’s house to watch the game.

looses, they loose the field.

Dante Del Gato was one of the best baseball players there was.
Breaking many records and champion. Dante left the majors and
went back to Dillintown. Soon after Tom and Cruz had found him,
Dante became their coach along with Tom’s dad.

Even though Tom’s team won and the others lost, everyone
including Tom’s team and the parents of the team were cheering
for the others for the tough game they played.
H IS FOR HONOR

Tom’s team only has 6 innings to play to get the win. But since the
game went into extras, they had more time to score.

Alabaster Jones makes a deal with Tom before the game starts. If
Tom wins, Jones will tear down the field. If Tom looses the game
for the team, Alabaster would give Tom a lot of money. But since
they won, Tom’s team convinced Alabaster to not tear the field
down.

Tom had to use his knowledge to see what decision he would
choose from the choices Alabaster gave him.

The game has ended and Tom’s team had won. They have beat
the team that was going to tear down the field. The lost was a
tough one for them since they had put up a hard and tough
game.

Outs will cost Tom’s team the game. They only have a few outs to
try and win the game. Tom’s team will need to limit the outs they

Cruz De La Cruz is the best pitcher on the team. But when it

Every inning of that game was silent until somebody has scored

Tom’s team needed to score a lot of runs to win the game and
that’s what they did.

Cruz really needed to be focused on strikeouts. If Cruz couldn’t
give any strikeouts, there was an even better possibility that the

Tom is my main character in my book. Tom is trying to do
everything that he can do to win. If he doesn’t win, the Dillintown
baseball field will get torn down along with Doc’s farming space.
T IS FOR TOM

When it comes to the game, Tom’s team is unprepared to see
what the other team can do. They don’t know how they hit, field,
pitch, and how fast they run. So if there is a ground ball in the
infield, the players on Tom’s team don’t know if the runner would
be able to beat the throw to the base.
U IS FOR UNPREPARED

up as much as they can so they are ready to play.

At the end of the game, during the last inning, Alabaster Jones
would keep yelling at every pitch so that Cruz would walk the
batters. Alabaster wanted more walks so the other team could
score and tie the game and maybe even get the lead and win.
Y IS FOR YELLS

Once Cruz has gave the last out, Tom and Dante zoned out
because they were so surprised that they won in this situation.
