CAR WASH TICKETS ON SALE
Need a good car wash? With the
rain and sleet, everyone can use a
car wash ticket! These tickets
benefit our National History Day
students who will compete in New
Mexico and in Washington D.C. The
tickets are from Mister Hotshine
Carwash and are only $10 each,
which is the same cost as their
regular car wash. Our NHD students
receive 50% from every ticket sold,
so it’s a good deal for everyone! The
tickets never expire and are good at
any Mister Carwash, anywhere in
the nation. You may get your
carwash tickets at the front desk.
PLEASE REMEMBER THE
SCHOOL, STAFF, AND CHILDREN
IN YOUR DAILY PRAYERS.

ADMISSIONS INFORMATION
NIGHT
Do you know any families who might
be interested in Christian education
for their children? ACS is hosting an
Admissions Information Open House
on February 16 from 6:00 – 8:00
p.m. here at ACS. Our faculty and
staff will share information about our
curriculum and activities in the
different grade levels. Please invite
your friends, neighbors, family and
church friends! We are shining at
ACS and we want the Albuquerque
community to know who we are and
what we stand for. Albuquerque
Christian School is a wonderful place
for students to grow in the love of
Christ and engage in a deep
academic curriculum! Thank you for
helping us get the word out!
WORD OF THE WEEK:
CONTENTMENT
“But godliness with contentment is
great gain.
For we brought nothing into the
world, and we can take
nothing out of it.”
I Timothy 6:6-7
Judges are also needed for our upcoming ACS History Day on Tuesday,
February 14. Again, no experience is necessary – only an interest in history and
a love for the students. Judges may choose to help with exhibits, websites,
documentaries, performances or papers. Please contact Mrs. McKenzie at
[email protected] if you are interested.
a blessing to our sows up. We are blesse and his family here at ACS!
STAR STUDENTS
Aden Trujillo is a Kindergarten STAR this week. Aden is a quiet and studious student. He always wants to do more
work every day. His favorite colors are red and blue. He enjoys pizza, and his favorite book is Minecraft. Aden says his
hobbies are video games and Legos. He shows the love of Jesus by playing with others. Aden is really good at
basketball. He says he wants to be a zookeeper when he grows up. The one thing he doesn’t like is soccer. Aden is
new to our school and we are so glad that he is at ACS in Mrs. Smith’s class.
Our 4th grade STAR this week is Robert Mathews. It is such a joy to have Robert in our 4th grade class. He works
diligently in everything he does, even his weekly class job. Robert is a very grateful young man of God as he thanks the
Lord every day in class prayer for ACS, the teachers, his classmates, and the ability to learn. Robert has love, joy,
peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control . . . it shows every day! He comes to
school prepared and ready to learn. Robert is a friend to every one of his classmates; he is a precious young man and a
great example for other students. We are truly blessed to have Robert and his family here with us at Albuquerque
Christian School. They are so involved and truly care about our school. Robert’s mother is even known for spoiling the
teachers here at ACS, and we all love her for that!
