Managing Organisational Change
September 2016 Face-to-face 1 day program – Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne
Managing Organisation Change:
Change is the one constant thing that occurs in the workplace, in the environment, the economy and in personal
life. Change in the workplace is constant. Sometimes it is small changes such as new staff or procedures;
sometimes the change may be bigger such as new IT systems or a company merger. It is how we manage change
that can make the difference between success and failure.
To be able to integrate change into an organisation skills and knowledge are needed to identify early warning
signals and to be able to plan and prepare for the implementation of change. There are logical steps to
implementing change and this workshop identifies them. Utilising problem-solving skills to overcome objections
from those resistant to change and to develop strategies will provide the confidence to go forward. These skills
will enable a manager to develop integrated change strategies that utilise the strengths of people, technology,
and the organisation.
