PLAYER AND PARENT CODE CONDUCT AND TEAM INVITATION ACCEPTANCE
PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT - I HEREBY PLEDGE TO PROVIDE POSITIVE SUPPORT BY FOLLOWING AYSO
UNITED – ANTIETAM’S CODE OF CONDUCT









I will play for fun and enjoyment of the game.
I will work hard to improve my soccer skills.
I will be a team player, get along with and cooperate with my coaches and teammates.
I will always demonstrate good sportsmanship.
I will respect my coaches, teammates, parents, opponents, spectators and referees.
I will not argue with the referee.
I will not, under any circumstances, participate in physical violence or threats of physical violence before, during or after any
game or practice.
I will not use alcohol or illegal drugs.
I will make every effort to attend all practices, games and clinics and to arrive on time as instructed by team officials.
PARENTS CODE OF CONDUCT - I HEREBY PLEDGE TO PROVIDE POSITIVE SUPPORT, CARE, AND
ENCOURAGEMENT FOR MY CHILD BY FOLLOWING AYSO UNITED – ANTIETAM’S CODE OF CONDUCT






I agree to support AYSO United - Antietam and their team in requiring players to abide by the Players Code of Conduct.
I will not under any circumstance be verbally or physically abusive to any player, coach, referee, spectator, or other official. I
understand AYSO United – Antietam may sanction me or any other spectator for such action.
I will not dispute any call made by the referee; and I understand that AYSO United - Antietam may sanction any spectator who
does so.
I will not coach my child or other children from the sideline during the game.
I will only make positive comments to the players and it is understood that coaches and not parents shall provide instructional
input during games.
I understand that the game is for the children not for the adults.
TERMS OF ACCEPTANCE –








Every effort will be made to attend all team practices, games, tournaments and events on time and with the energy, focus and
preparation needed to give your all. AYSO United – Antietam and your team will be a priority.
AYSO United - Antietam will follow the AYSO Philosophies. While playing time is guaranteed, it is contingent upon
attendance, meeting the Code of Conduct and any necessary communication with your coach.
An AYSO United - Antietam uniform/player kit will be purchased by the player/parent/guardian. The uniform and place to
purchase it from will be designated by AYSO United – Antietam and conform with AYSO United policy.
AYSO United - Antietam team commitment is for the full soccer year, August to July.
All payments, in full or with a payment plan, will be made promptly.
Volunteer requirements will be fulfilled for fundraising, assistance with fields, concessions etc. and will be in compliance with
the needs of AYSO United - Antietam. Your assistance will ensure additional opportunities for the players and families of your
team and the entire AYSO United - Antietam family.
All AYSO United - Antietam fees are due no later than November 1 st of the year the player participated in tryouts. A graduated
fee schedule is available at an additional cost.
Payment should be made to AYSO United. Any arrangement for a deadline extension must be made between AYSO United and
the player/parent. There are no scholarships, but a player may seek sponsorship (contact the AYSO United – Antietam Treasurer)
or apply money raised through team fundraising.
