1 Accreditation 2016 SESSION 1 2 What We’ve Accomplished Since Last Summer When What Summer 2014 • • • Fall 2014 Accreditation Summer Campaign - College closed offices to facilitate gatherings of available staff, faculty, administrators, and students to dialogue about Accreditation Standards. Reports from the summer campaign sessions were compiled and posted. Staff and Faculty Convocation dedicated sessions to focus on Accreditation. Staff and Faculty signed up to work on an Accreditation sub-Standard team. • Standard teams began meeting and continued meeting through spring 2015 to draft responses and gather evidence to each sub-Standard. November Day of Dialogue- faculty and staff met with their Accreditation team members to dialogue about what quality and effectiveness looks like at LATTC. Accreditation Steering Committee finished identifying actions/gaps. January 2015 • Initial rough draft of the institutional self evaluation report compiled. Spring 2015 • The rough drafts for Standard I, III, and IV were vetted by the sub-Standard teams and posted online along with feedback surveys for campus feedback. Days of Dialogue in February, April, and May focused on how the College does the work of Accreditation Standards I, II, III, and IV and how it has improved since 2009. • • • Summer 2015 • Self study drafts and evidence polished. 3 How did you get involved? Review the second response to the Accreditation Standard statement – 10 min 2. On the backside of your worksheet, write your second statement number. 3.
