Quality on a Smaller Scale
QuickGel electrophoresis products are compact and
easy-to-use, allowing cost-effective manual separation
without sacrificing quality or accuracy. The QuickGel
Chamber provides temperature-controlled electrophoresis,
incubation and drying in a tiny 8.75” x 10.5” footprint.
No buffers or wicks - Plug the QuickGel Chamber
into an external power supply and you are ready to go.
Carbon electrodes are built directly into the chamber lid.
Like all of Helena’s premium agarose gels, QuickGels have
integral buffer ridges. No mixing or measuring buffer
solutions.
Incubate and dry – With a quick change
of the lid, the QuickGel chamber also serves
as an incubator and dryer. No additional
equipment or expense!
Good things do come in small packages.
New QuickGels are ideal for small runs or small
volumes. Extremely versatile, they can be used
with the SPIFE® system or with the new standalone QuickGel Chamber.

QuickGel kits are designed for running up to 10
samples per run, efficiently and cost-effectively.
Some assays allow purchase of additional
applicators to accommodate up to 20 samples
per gel. Like all of Helena’s premium agarose

QuickGel Split-Beta SPE
QuickGel SPE provides a split-beta fractionation
of the major proteins. Resolution is excellent
with acid blue staining for great sensitivity.
QuickGel Acid & Alkaline Hemoglobins
Both Alkaline and Acid Hemoglobin QuickGel
methods use acid blue stain for excellent
sensitivity and are stable in storage.

QuickGel CK & LD Isoenzymes
Separate major isoenzyme fractions quickly and
efficiently.
Precise sample application – QuickGel’s mylar
applicators prevent protein adherence and provide
tight, crisp sample application. Up to 10 samples can
be applied simultaneously.
QuickGel IFE
Each QuickGel IFE Kit contains gels and antisera
for performing two patient profiles per gel. Test
two different patients on one gel or profile a
patient’s serum and urine simultaneously.
