GoFree Announces Free Upgrade to Insight Planner Software
GoFree™ is providing a free upgrade to the latest version of Insight Planner™ software for
current customers. Insight Planner is a PC mapping software that allows boaters to create
custom waypoints, routes and points-of-interest with maps from Insight, C-MAP, Navionics,
Fugawi and more ─ for use on all Lowrance®, Simrad® and B&G® chartplotters.
New Features and Functions
The upgrade includes a new active menu with smart filter for mapping layers and gives users the
capability to view charts using the following features:
 Raster charts
 High Resolution Bathymetric charts
 Custom Shaded Contours
 Photo Overlay
In addition, the latest version of Insight Planner is GoFree cloud-enabled, so users can choose to
have their waypoints, routes and trails stored and synchronized with their GoFree account.
To download the latest version, customers should open Insight Planner on their PC and select
download from the auto-notification window, or go to the Help menu and select Update.
