 Your group will receive a packet of four maps.
 Your task as a group is to discuss the questions as you
analyze the maps.
Discussion Questions
 Trace the changes of EACH tribe (Cherokee, Creek,
Seminole, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Shawnee, Seneca) on the
maps and discuss how their land holdings change over
time.
 What eventually happens to all tribal lands by the time of
statehood, 1907?
 Why do you believe the US government did nothing to
protect the tribes and their lands over time?
