FIELD TRIPS
MONTHLY MEETINGS
MEMBERSHIP
The Society field trips offer an educational and fun
opportunity to enjoy Minnesota’s wide variety of plant
communities throughout the year. Trip leaders are
knowledgeable about important features of each site.
The Minnesota Native Plant Society holds monthly
membership meetings the first Thursday of each month
from October through June (excluding January). Meetings
feature experts on a variety of plant related topics. Check
out the meeting schedule at www.mnnps.org
Memberships are available on a yearly basis renewing in
January. Please print clearly:
EVENTS
Spring Symposium - explores issues related to native
flora, co-sponsered by the Bell Museum of Natural
History.
Spring Plant Sale - members share their extra
seedlings and divisions raising money for the Society.

7:15 to 7:30 PM - Plant of the month
7:30 to 8:30 PM - Main Speaker

information about habitat and cultivation.

Conservation Committee - Informs Society members
about emerging issues affecting Minnesota’s rare and
endangered species and their habitats, and promotes the
use of native plants.
