Optical efficiency
Thanks to the optimised design of reflectors and the use
of high purity aluminium in all of its luminaires, GE can
guarantee high photometric performance that minimises
light pollution and delivers light only where it's needed.
The design of GE optics, working together with StreetWise™
lamps developed specially for these fittings, enables tailor
made solutions to be created for each application. The
result is a lighting efficiency higher than 90%.

Electrical
efficiency
The switch from magnetic to
electronic ballasts provides an
energy saving of 10% due to high
frequency operation and efficient
electronic components that produce
little heat.
High frequency electronic ballasts also reduce lumen degradation
caused by lamp wall blackening, allowing an extension of the lamp life
and reducing lamp changes and associated maintenance expenses.
High efficiency
technology
LED systems provide up to 60% energy savings, longer
life and significantly improved light level uniformity
compared with traditional HID lamp sources and
optical systems.
The increase in both vertical and horizontal uniformity,
combined with the high CRI, facilitates face recognition
- a valuable asset for security surveillance - and
improves visual comfort for drivers and pedestrians.
