Rooms blocked until October 1, at the Best Western Desert Aire have 2 queen beds and will cost
$75+tax/night (though other types of rooms are available if you’d prefer something else).
Reservations for lodging can be made by calling 575/437-2110, and mentioning NMNWSE .
We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Initial meeting details, including conference hotel reservation info, has been posted
at http://nmnwse.org/AM/2012/. Tinka is working with the Annual Meeting
Committee to finalize the conference registration form and meeting flyer, and
anticipate that will be posted on the meeting webpage by the end of next week. We
recommend you make your hotel reservations early!
Karen would like to be able to de-couple the membership mailing from the Annual
Meeting mailing if the AM plans are delayed. The motion was unanimously
approved.

Compiling database. To make sure that everyone is included on membership list.
Karen will send email list to members. Then send global list.
I will create (under Tinka’s tutelage) a new membership list for members only. So
info to be sent out with info on members only goes out to members – not to whole
listserv. Karen and Tinka will talk to Emily about status of northern chapter (their
members must also be members of the network).
IMPACT! Award
Jennie DeMarco
Welcome Jennie! Elizabeth Kallman and Nancy Savage are giving Jennie info on the
protocol. Let Jennie know if you have ideas about where to solicit nominations and
publicize award.
* The 2012 IMPACT! Award nomination deadline is 1 October 2012.
Tinka Gammel is awaiting final approval of the draft forms from our 2012 IMPACT!
Award chair Jennie DeMarco, and anticipate having the 2012 nomination
information and forms posted at http://nmnwse.org/ImpactAward by the end of
next week. The award will be presented at our Annual Meeting (see below). In the
meantime, if you have any questions about the nomination process you can contact
Jennie at [email protected] or the NMNWSE Board. Once the final nomination
forms are available, we would appreciate your help in advertising the award by
posting the IMPACT! Award 'call for nominations' flyer, now available at
http://www.nmnwse.org/ImpactAward/ImpactFlyer.pdf
