RENTALS
The facility and grounds make a great destination for your next birthday
celebration, family event or corporate party. The aquatic park offers a playgound,
a pavilion, and a park area. Contact the Parks & Recreation Department for private
rental and assistance in planning your event. Opportunities to sponsor public
swim events are also available.

The aquatic park is located at 334 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy, within the Fair Grounds Recreation Complex - a 15 acre park space
featuring baseball diamonds, tennis courts, pavilion and picnic areas, the Sleepy Hollow miniature railway, and the West Middlesex
Memorial Centre arena. The aquatic park features mens, ladies and family change areas, as well as a shaded spectator area.

AQUATIC PARK FACTS...
- The pool water is heated. Over ¾ of a million litres of water is
required to fill the pool;
- There is approximately 2 kilometres of piping under the pool
deck for water supply and filtration;
- When the pool is winterized, water will remain in the pool
approximately 18” below the surface for frost protection;
- The aquatic park will begin regular hours on June 25 and run
through to the end of August, early September subject to staff
availability;
- The maximum bather load of the aquatic park is 339 people,
including the pool deck, slide and in the water;
- The facility was built with energy efficiency in mind with
variable speed drive pumps and a highly efficient filter along
with a UV light filter system to assist with water quality;
- Free parking is available next door at the West Middlesex
Memorial Centre arena, and can be accessed from Metcalfe
Street West or Buchanan Street.

starting at dusk. The Aquatic Park will be open for extended public swimming
hours, and the Sleepy Hollow Railway will offer FREE train rides.
