Entrance is through open double gates and the drive divides past the main school up towards Woodfields where there is a large car park. Entrance to the school building is through securely magnetically locked doors into reception. A further double doors exit the reception and once all YP are inside this door must be locked only opened by a swipe (2 of which are issued to the MK staff on arrival) to be returned before departing. There is a covered area immediately in front of the school for loading and unloading only. One large hall, opposite the reception, is used for DXA which adjoins an eating area well-furnished together with a well-stocked kitchen, where the young people are prevented from entering. Lunch boxes and medication should be stored in the kitchen. Fridge available. Leading from the far end of the eating room is a door leading into a stocked garden of non-poisonous plants, seating areas and wheel chair accessible. This area is used in suitable weather during break times.
