Quality Assurance
Qualifications:
.1 Ensure roofer is qualified and approved by membrane manufacturer
.2 Ensure roofer is an active member in good standing with Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors
Association (OIRCA).
.1 Letter of verification to be furnished upon request.
Warranty
.1 Provide to owner a written warranty covering any actual leaks in the roofing membrane or membrane
flashings resulting from faulty workmanship for a period of 2 years commencing from the date of
completion of roofing. Ensure warranty is submitted on OIRCA’s “standard form of warranty”.
Manufacturer Warranty:
.2 Warrant work of this Section using manufacturer's standard form of warranty for a period of __ years
against defects and/or deficiencies (total membrane system warranty; labour, material and workmanship) in
accordance with General Conditions of the Contract. Promptly correct any defects or deficiencies resulting
in water leakage within warranty period and render roofing membrane to a watertight condition to
satisfaction of the Owner at no additional expense.
Part 3 Execution:
Contractor is to complete all work in conformance with OIRCA/CRCA recommendations and this
specification.
