Executive Vice President
Longyuan Power Overseas Investment Ltd.
Hao Wu is the Executive Vice President of Longyuan Power Overseas Investment Ltd., from
2015 until now.
Hao’s strong and diversity technical background of B.A.Sc Mechanical Engineering in
Xinjiang Engineering Institute and M.B.A. in Capital University of Economics and Business
in China has led to a robust career in Chinese Utility sector, especially in wind power Industry.
Hao began his career with China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Ltd. in 2002 as Senior
Project Manager in R & D Department, involving into the whole structure design of 1500kW
wind turbine R&D project. And after three years, Hao was promoted to the Director of
Construction Department, in charge of 25.8MW wind project construction in Inner Mongolia,
which is the first GE1500kW project in China. During these years, he has oversaw 20-50 wind
farm projects under construction each year. In 2009, Hao’s “Power Curve Testing” technology
won the China Utility Model Patent, after he became the president of China Longyuan Beijing
Wind Engineering Technology Co.
From 2011 to 2015, as President of Longyuan Canada Renewables Ltd., Hao is responsible for
overall strategy development and direction of all facets of the group, and leads the group
devoting themselves into the Dufferin 99.1MW Wind Project in Ontario, including
development, construction, operation and financing.
