Citibank Customers Win Everyday with
their Citi Credit Card
As a leader in the credit card market in the Czech Republic, Citibank offers a diverse range
of products that provide customers with benefits everyday. From earning discounts on their
monthly phone bills, to receiving cash back on their daily spend, to gaining access to
exclusive offers from top merchants, Citibank customers benefit everyday just by using their
Citi credit card.
This holiday season, Citibank Czech Republic will make customers win even more everyday
as they shop for holiday presents for their relatives and friends. In addition to savings through
the benefits of their card, customers will be entitled to participate in a special Christmas
campaign. The promotion, entitled “Citibank Pays for Your Christmas Shopping”, will run
from the 1st to the 31st of December, and will pay for every 2,010th transaction everyday, with
a cap of CZK 200,000 (approximately USD 11,000) per prize.
Any customer in good standing will be eligible to participate in this promotion, without any
additional special requirements. During this period, Citibank customers only need to use their
Citi credit card for their holiday shopping and daily spend, to qualify for either the Daily Prize
or the Super Daily Prize. Everyday, every 2010th transaction on all Citibank credit cards will
be selected as a winning transaction for the Daily Prize. There can be multiple winners per
day who will receive a reimbursement for the full amount of the winning transaction. In
addition, for each day, among the Daily Prize winners, the one who used their Citibank credit
card with the most frequency will be selected as the winner of the Super Daily Prize. There
will be one Super Daily Prize winner everyday who will have all of their purchases on their
Citibank credit card on that day reimbursed, up to the total daily promotional cap of CZK
200,000.
This campaign does not only add excitement to the customer’s holiday shopping experience,
but also emphasizes the savings from and convenience of using Citi credit cards. “We would
like to make the Christmas rush as pleasant as possible and offer our customers a possibility
to give presents to their beloved ones and to save money at the same time. Our contest was
designed in a very simple way and is available for all Citi credit card holders. Their joy will be
doubled. In addition to comfortable and secure shopping thanks to their Citi credit card with
the possibility to use an interest-free period, they will participate in our contest where the
prize is the reimbursement of purchases and can be significant,” says George Denisenko,
Consumer Lending Director in the Czech Republic. “All that our customers need to do is to
use their Citi credit card for their purchases as often as possible.”
This promotion, and the selection of every 2010th transaction as the winning transaction,
serves as a precursor to Citibank Czech Republic’s planned line-up of activities in the new
year 2010, focused around providing extra value to the Citi credit card customer.
