Using the book ‘I need my monster by Amanda Noll’ children
will:
 Make predictions about characters
 Write descriptions, letters, postcards
 Write narrative poetry
 Create a monster and add this to a ‘year book’ of
monsters
Half term B
Using the book ‘BFG by Roald Dahl’
 Make predictions about characters
 Write character descriptions
 Story writing

be embedding the core number
and calculation skills developed
in K.S.1/Year 3
We will be building on cross
curricular links with Literacy
and the Ancient Egyptians and
