classify and compare properties of materials
 Look at practical uses of everyday materials
 To look at the basic needs of a plant (light,

 Number, place value and rounding
 To add and subtract numbers mentally and
using written methods
 To recognise the relationships between
numbers (e.g. the inverse)
 To solve problems using known facts
 To recall and use multiplication and division
facts for times tables 2, 5, 10
 To multiply and divide numbers,
understanding that they are the inverse
 To find, name and write simple fractions
