Fitness Center Location:
The James B. Dworkin Student Service and Activities Complex (DSAC) is directly north of South
Drive, with a circle drive extending from South Drive towards DSAC. It is directly south of the
Technology building, and to the east of Purdue Drive and parking lot 6 and parking lot 7.
The Fitness Center is in the main building of the DSAC, and as a wing it is north of the
Conference Center wing, to which it is connected by a single hallway.
Entrances:
There are ten (10) entrances into the DSAC Fitness Center. All doors open toward the outside.
• The Main Entrance is the Circle Drive Entrance (1H07), or the south entrance on the
southwest side of the building, which leads into the west hallway.
o This entrance is ADA accessible.
o This entrance has exterior and interior doors separated by a vestibule.
o This entrance has two sets of double doors.
o There is pavement leading up to this entrance.
• The Southwest Entrance (1H05) leads into the west hallway.
o This entrance has exterior and interior doors separated by a vestibule.
o This entrance has double doors and a single door.
o There is pavement leading up to this entrance.
• The East Entrance leads into the east hallway.
o This is a double door entrance.
o There is pavement leading up to this entrance.
• The Northeast Entrance leads into the northeast stairway.
o This is a single door entrance.
o There is pavement leading up to this entrance.
• The Main Northeast Entrance (1H03) leads into the east hallway.
o This entrance has exterior and interior doors separated by a vestibule.
o This is a double door entrance.
o There is pavement leading up to this entrance.
• The Main Northwest Entrance (1H06) leads into the gymnasium and the west hallway.
o This entrance has exterior and interior doors separated by a vestibule.
o This entrance has two sets of double doors, one set leads into the gymnasium,
the other into the west hallway.
o There is pavement leading up to this entrance.

The West Northwest Entrance leads into room 1093E. This is a double door entrance.
The Northwest Entrance leads into room 1022A. This is a double door entrance.
The North Northeast Entrance is a single door entrance into room X0001.
The South Northeast Entrance is a single door entrance into room 1010B.
Elevators:
There is one (1) elevator in the Fitness Center wing of DSAC.
The Elevator (1E01) is located off of the east hallway close to the main entrance. It is located on
the west side of the east hallway.
Stairs:
There are four (4) stairways on the first floor of the Fitness Center wing of DSAC.
• The Northeast Stairway (1S01) is located at the northeast corner of the building.
o These stairs lead to the second floor of DSAC.
o The one door into the stairway is the northeast entrance.
• The Northwest Stairway (1S02) is located in the northeast corner of the building and to
the west of the northeast stairway.
o This stairway does not lead to the second floor.
o The entrance into the stairway is off of the main northeast entrance’s vestibule.
• The Southeast Stairway (1S03) is located in the southeast side of the fitness center
wing, off of room 1101. It leads to the second floor’s running track.
• The Southwest Stairway (1S04) is located in the southwest corner of the fitness center
wing, at the juncture of the east hallway and the south hallway. It leads to the second
floor.
Restrooms:
There is one (1) set of restrooms on the first floor of the Fitness Center wing of DSAC.
The restrooms are located off of the east hallway, rooms 1016 and 1032.

The women’s restroom is room 1016.
The men’s restroom is room 1032.
These restrooms are ADA accessible.
These restrooms have stalls.
Building layout (hallways & open areas):
There are three (3) hallways on the first floor of the Fitness Center wing of DSAC
• The East Hallway (1H01) is located on the east side of the building, running north to
south. It connects with the main northeast entrance, the Circle Drive entrance, and
extends eastward to connect with the east entrance. The east hallway is also the
hallway which connects to the Conference Center wing, turning into the west hallway of
the Conference Center wing.
• The West Hallway (1H04) is located on the west side of the building, running north to
south. It connects with the south hallway, the southwest entrance, and the main
northwest entrance.
• The South Hallway (1H02) is located on the south side of the building, running east to
west. It connects with the west hallway and with the east hallway. The south hallway is
separated from the east hallway by a set of double doors which open toward the east
hallway.
Room Locations:
• The Student Study Lounge is room 1007, located off of the east hallway. There are
two single door entrances into the room; both doors open into the hallway.
• The Conference Room is room 1009, located off of the east hallway through a single
door entrance which opens into the room. There is also an entrance through room
1021.
• The Veteran’s Lounge is room 1002A, located off of the east hallway through a
single door entrance which opens into the room.
• The Game Room is room 1102, located off of the intersection of the east hallway
and the fitness area.
• The Fitness Area is room 1101, located off of the east hallway.
• The Meeting Room is room 1113, located off of the east hallway near the Circle
Drive entrance.
• The Welcome Center is room 1114B, located off of the east hallway near the Circle
Drive entrance.
• The Men’s Fitness Center Locker Room is 1108, located off of an east hallway alcove
which also leads to the women’s fitness center locker room.
• The Women’s Fitness Center Locker Room is 1110, located off of an east hallway
alcove which also leads to the men’s fitness center locker room.
• The Gymnasium is room 1022. There are six (6) entrances into the gymnasium from
the east hallway, the south hallway, the west hallway, room 1022A, and through the
main northwestern entrance.
o There is one double door entrance into the gymnasium from room 1022A;
the doors open into the gymnasium.
o The door from the main northwest entrance is a double door entrance with
the doors opening toward the entrance.
o There is one door off of the west hallway; it is a double door entrance which
opens into the hallway.
o There are two entrances off of the south hallway that open into the
southeast and southwest corners of the gymnasium.
The entrance into the southwest corner of the gymnasium is a double
door and a single door together, which open into the hallway.
 The entrance into the southeast corner of the gymnasium is a double
door opening into the hallway.
o The entrance off of the east hallway is four (4) double doors, all of which
open towards the east hallway. This entrance is located within an alcove of
the east hallway, which is the length of the doorways.
The Women Team Locker Room is 1051, located off of the south hallway with a
single door entrance which opens into the hallway.
The Women Visitor Locker Room is 1059, located off of the south hallway with a
single door entrance which opens into the hallway.
The Men’s Team Locker Room is 1063, located off of the south hallway with a single
door entrance which opens into the hallway.
The Men’s Visitor Locker Room is 1055, located off of the south hallway with a
single door entrance which opens into the hallway.
Rooms 1001 – 1036 are located off of the east hallway in ascending order from
north to south, starting at the main northeast entrance, ending at the south hallway
intersection.
Rooms 1043 – 1063 are located off of the south hallway in ascending order from
east to west.
Rooms 1069 – 1093 are located off of the west hallway in ascending order from
south to north.
Rooms 1101 and 1102 are located on the eastern side of the east hallway.
Rooms 1104 – 1114 are located off of the east hallway in ascending order from
north to south, starting just south of the south hallway intersection.
Room 1115 is located off of the southwest entrance with a door also off of room
1114.

