Student parking passes for the 2017-2018 school year will be sold on:
THURSDAY AUGUST 3, 2017
Dual Enrollment, Off-Campus Virtual School, OJT, Athletics, and Extra-Curricular
activities DO NOT GUARANTEE you a parking pass on campus. If you are relying on
any of these options to obtain a pass you may want to consider other transportation
methods for the upcoming school year.
General Parking Rules:
1. ALL DEBTS AND OBLIGATIONS MUST BE CLEARED WITH THE BOOKKEEPER PRIOR TO
OBTAINING A PARKING PASS.
2. All vehicles must have the 2017-2018 school issued permit/tag to park on campus.
3. All students will select their designated numbered parking spots when purchasing their passes.
4. All students must park in their designated numbered parking spots.
5. Vehicles not parked in their designated numbered parking spots will be towed IMMEDIATELY at owners’
expense.
6. Cost of the parking pass is $70; payment may be made by cash, check or money order.
7. In order to obtain a parking pass/tag, students must provide a copy of all of the following documents:
a. *Valid Driver’s License (Copy)
b. *Vehicle Registration (Copy)
c. *Completed Notarized Application for Parking – Next page.
d. *Form of Payment: Cash, Check or Money Order
8. All parking passes must be displayed on the rear windshield of the vehicle.
9. Lost or stolen parking passes or any vehicle changes must be reported to the Discipline Office immediately.
10. Replacement parking passes will be subject to a fee of $20.00.
11. Students may share a parking space but must have documentation for both drivers and vehicles on file.
12. Lake Mary High School is NOT responsible for any damages to vehicles or personal property.
13. Students may not park in any other area on campus except for their numbered spot.
14. If a vehicle is in your spot, park your vehicle on the curb in front of the auditorium or main office
and proceed to the Discipline Office IMMEDIATELY – Do not park in another numbered spot.
15. Students leaving campus without authorization will have their parking passes revoked and face disciplinary
action.
16. Speed limit on campus is 10 MPH.
17. Students must exit their vehicles and the parking lot area immediately upon arriving to school.
18. Students are not allowed in the parking lot during school hours without administrator approval.
19. Duplication of a parking passes will result in the loss of your parking privileges for the remainder of
20. the year-- along with the appropriate disciplinary action.
21. Students who have a decal but drive another vehicle in an emergency situation or purchase a new vehicle
must report to the Discipline Office before school to obtain a temporary decal.
Parking on the Lake Mary High School campus is a privilege. In order to retain this privilege,
I agree to abide by all parking rules and regulations listed below. Failure to do so can result
in my vehicle being towed at my expense, parking privileges revoked, a traffic citation
issued, and/or disciplinary action taken.

PARKING DECAL APPLICATION 2017-2018
I, ___________________, request permission for a parking pass for the 2017-2018 school year at Lake
Mary High School at the cost of $70.00* (subject to change per School Board review).
***Please list below the Make, Model, Color, Year, and Parking Pass Number of your car. Only
one parking decal is allowed per student. A copy of the current registration of the vehicle and the
student’s valid driver’s license must be attached to this application. The resulting decal issued
from this application may only be used by the applicant for the vehicle described herein.

PARENTAL CONSENT FORM

to the issuance of a parking decal, give my consent for my student to park on the Lake Mary High
School’s campus in accordance with Lake Mary High School and School Board Policies. I understand that
it will be my responsibility to notify the school when my child has to leave campus for any reason during
the school hours. My student understands that once the parent has called the school, he/she must sign out
through the attendance office before leaving campus.
