Project “Anton” (Antiplagiarism Online Solution)
Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno, one of the leading economic
faculties in Czechia, with approx. 3000 students (10% of them are international) and 150 staff
members.
The internship will take place at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Zemědělská 1, Brno
(Mendel University campus). The main task will be to cooperate on development of a tool for
detection of similarities called Anton, preferably as a part of student’s final theses.
Anton is an online tool for detection similarities in the texts in natural language and in
programming languages that was developed at Mendel University. During the internship the
student will analyze and implement prearranged modification of the system.
No salary is provided, using Erasmus+ grant for practical training is supposed. Mendel
University provides accommodation and lunches for reasonable price.
Required skills:
 Programming skills, no particular language required – experience with PHP and Perl are
welcome
 Analytical and critical thinking
 Proactivity, creativity, willingness to learn new things and to experiment
Previous international experience is welcomed, but not necessary.
