WE GO HARD. The Big Apple Classic (BAC) was launched seven years ago as New York’s first ever historically black colleges and universities basketball competition. The BAC brings together leading institutions, educational programming and sports, all in one weekend! Designed to expose students and communities to some of the nation’s top historically black colleges, BAC weekend begins with a student STEM-ED Leadership Summit on Saturday at The New York Times Building. On Sunday, at Barclays Center, there will be a college fair featuring over 20 institutions, and area CTE high schools. The weekend will end with a dynamic step show, exciting drumline competition and doubleheader basketball games between four prominent historically black universities.
