Our youngest competitor Harry Rugman on his lovely pony Kerry.
Two of our Pony Club teams ventured out to the NFU Novice Pony Club Championships on Saturday
23rd August. Well done to Holly Booth, Chloe Stevens, Dani Chambers and Honor Simcox who
finished on 12 faults, finishing in 13th place out of 47 teams and who took 3rd place in the tack and
turn out. Well done to Dani Chambers who finished on a

double clear! This was a great acheivement as the course was very technical and really made you think
and ride! Well done to Eddie Cowper, Harry Rugman, Lorna Topp and Imogen Forster who won the
tack and turn out competition. They sparkled the judges with how nicely turned out they were. All
rode exceptionally well and although unplaced this year, you all did such a great job of earning your
place there. Well done to all of you.
WARWICKSHIRE HUNT AREA SUCCESS!!
What a day for the Warwickshire Hunt Pony Club competitors! As we ventured out to the area show
jumping competition at Netley Hall in Shropshire, no-one would have guessed that we would have
done so well, especially after a week at camp!
Holly and Wizdom on their way to winning the Novice Area Show Jumping
Huge congratulations to Holly Booth who took individual first place in the novice section with her
beautiful pony Wisdom! Holly did a lovely double clear and earned herself a place in the jump off.
With a top speed and some amazing tight turns she was very hard to beat! The competition was tight
and the atmosphere electric as the team of Holly Booth, Dani Chambers, Chloe Stevens and Honor
Simcox took the Warwickshire Big Stars to 1st place victory winning them a day at the Championships
in Cheshire.
Honor, Holly, Dani and Chloe, the first place novice team
A massive well done to Chloe Stevens on Miss D Piggy. Chloe also took 6th place individually with a
lovely double clear. This was Chloe's first time at an area competition and she pulled out all the stops!
The Warwickshire Triple X's, Eddie Cowper, Harry Rugman, Imogen Forster and Lorna Topp showed
some excellent skill and
Imogen, Eddie, Harry and Lorna the third place novice team
had us all very excited at the ringside, as they took their team into 3rd place, also earning themselves a
place at the championships! A big well done to Imogen Forster who took 7th place individually on her
beautiful mare Riverdancer. Well done to the Warwickshire Top Guns, Amy Newcombe, Chloe
Banfield, Henry Bradshaw and Lucy Pierson who all rode beautifully. Chloe earned herself a place in
the jump off as an individual. Flora Leathart did some lovely riding on her beatiful mare as an
individual and although unplaced I am sure everyone will agree that they went very well. You all really
made us very proud.
Harriet, Imogen, Jess and Lucy fourth place open team
Our success continued throughout the day as our open team of Harriet Dickin, Imogen Hall, Jess
Beards and Lucy Mills took 4th place as a team with Jess placed 5th individually. These very smart
competitors also came 4th in the tack and turn out.
Our Intermediate team of Alexandra Kennedy, Charlotte Northwood, Astrid Straume Brown and
Amelia Steane, although unplaced this year they did some wonderful riding.
Our Pre Novice competitors were beautifully turned out and showed some great
Tori, Molly, Grace and Benji second place pre-novice
skill. The Warwickshire Nemos, Molly Fletcher, Tory Robins, Benji Bradshaw and Grace Hopkins won
2nd place as a team with Tory placed 4th individually. Well done to the second pre novice team of
Clara Dews, Sara Bloxham, Amelia Chambers and Arabella Nourse who gave it a very good shot and
produced some lovely riding skills.
We were also joined on the day by our New Zealand guests the Central Otago Pony Club Members

COPC Tack and Turnout Winners
Ellie they all jumped wonderful rounds showing fantastic riding skills on horses that they have only
had a matter of days to bond with. Although unplaced in the jumping the team won the tack and turn
out shield, and I am sure you can agree they looked very smart indeed!
A massive thank you to Richard Wakeham, Pippa Williams and Fran Moller who kept the spirits high
and gave their all to ensure that each and every team member gave their very best and felt supported
on the day. Richard and Pippa have worked really hard throughout the year with their training
sessions and it paid off again this year ensuring that two teams were through to the championships.
Also thank you to Debbie Okines who was with us giving support and kindness till the very end. We
really do appreciate everything that you all do for us - Thank you!
