x) DEPARTMENT OF SPORTS AND GAMES
1.Director Sports and Games -Grade 15 (NT/DSG/SG/1/11)
Applicants should have a PhD in Physical Education or the related areas of Leisure and
Recreation Management or Sports Science from a recognized university with at least
fifteen (15) years of relevant working experience in sports and games administration.
Alternatively, successful candidates should have experience of working in job grade
fourteen (14) for three (3) years in a university.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (AA). The
candidate will be required to work beyond official office hours, weekends and holidays.
2.Sports / Games officer Grade 11 (NT/SGO/SG/1/11)
Applicants should have a Masters degree in Physical Education or the related areas of
Leisure and Recreation Management or Sports Science from a recognized university with
at least six (6) years of relevant working experience in sports and games administration in
a post secondary institution. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director
Sports and Games. The candidate will be required to work beyond official office hours,
weekends and holidays.
3.Senior sports / Games assistant officer II Grade 10 (NT/SSGII/SG/1/11)
Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in Physical Education or the related areas of
Leisure and Recreation Management or Sports Science from a recognized university with
at least three (3) years of relevant working experience in sports and games administration
in a post secondary institution. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sports
and Games officer. The candidate will be required to work beyond official office hours,
weekends and holidays.
4.Sports / Games Officer (Karen Campus) Grade 10 (SG/KR/SG/1/11)
Applicants should have a Masters degree in Physical Education or the related areas of
Leisure and Recreation Management or Sports Science from a recognized university with
at least six (6) years of relevant

5.Sports / Games Officer (Nairobi Campus) Grade 10 (NT/SG/NC/SG/1/11)
Applicants should have a Masters degree in Physical Education or the related areas of
Leisure and Recreation Management or Sports Science from a recognized university
with at least six (6) years of relevant working experience in sports and games
administration in a post secondary institution. The successful candidate will report
directly to the Director Sports and Games. The candidate will be required to work
beyond official office hours, weekends and holidays.
6.Sports / Games Officer (Taita Campus) Grade 10 (NT/SGI/TT/SG/1/11)
Applicants should have a degree in Physical Education or the related areas of Leisure
and Recreation Management or Sports Science from a recognized university with at
least six (6) years of relevant working experience in sports and games administration
in a post secondary institution. The successful candidate will report directly to the
Director Sports and Games and the Principal. The candidate will be required to work
beyond official office hours, weekends and holidays.
7.Sports / Games Officer (Taita Campus) Grade 8 (NT/SGII/TT/SG/1/11)
Applicants should have a degree in Physical Education or the related areas of Leisure
and Recreation Management or Sports Science from a recognized university. Work
experience in sports and games coaching and administration in a post secondary
institution will be a added advantage. The successful candidate will report directly to
the Director Sports and Games. The candidate will be required to work beyond official
office hours, weekends and holidays.
