2nd Bone Mouth Shar-Pei Specialty Show
Following their first show in October last year, the Zhongguoquan Baocunhui organized the 2nd
Bone Mouth Shar-Pei Specialty Show on March 26 at the Hill’s Activity Center. The
Zhongguoquan Baocunhui is dedicated to saving, breeding and promotion of the traditional bone
mouth Shar-Pei.

The show was judged by three influential bone mouth judges: Eric T. Omura, Koo Chung Yin, and
vice President Law Kau. President Li Fook Wah stepped back this time and ran the show all the
way through from beginning to the end. After two round of selection, Eric T. Omura selected Black
Jack, six years old, as the Best Dog, Koo Chung Yin selected a 2 years old Ah Wong as the Best
Bitch. For the Best Puppy Dog and Bitch, Vice-President Law Kau respectively selected 5 months
old South China Sea and 3 months old Little Turtle.

For readers who had pay attention the 73rd issue of our Magazine, we reported that President Li’s
invited Mr. Wai Kee Shun to be Zhongguoquan Baocunhui Honorary President. Wai Kee Shun is
the earliest person to show bone mouth Shar-Pei and won five consecutive times the best of AOV.
His presence in the Specialty Show and as honorary guest to present the winners had given great
prominence to the Show.
Furthermore, this Specialty Show had also drawn the attention of the President of the Shar-Pei Club
of Finland, and she personally attended the Show and witness the selection of the Best Shar-Pei dog
and bitch. This is indeed a very precious and rare occasion.

President Li believe that the Show had attracted many visitors due to good publicity before hand.
This is a successful first step for Zhongguoquan Baocunhui, and hoped that they can organize more
study group and lectures in future. He wish to have more awareness on the traditional Shar-Pei
which is close to extinction. Finally, the organizer announced that there will be the 3rd Shar-Pei
show at the same venue in October this year. Interested parties please follow coming issues.
